The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course is based on the most current medical guidelines and prepares participants to respond effectively to a wide range of emergencies. It covers how to identify and manage first aid situations such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, injuries to the head, neck, and back, as well as heat- and cold-related emergencies. In addition, the course teaches critical skills for responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies involving individuals of all ages—from infants and children (under 12) to adults (12 and older). Upon successful completion, participants earn a two-year certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
